Replicant

On replicant.us the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (P31x0) is suggested as the better choice for a tablet. When comparing the information in the replicant wiki there doesn't seem to be a difference to the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. What makes the 7.0 a better choice?

In this thread /http://redmine.replicant.us/boards/27/topics/4659) other solutions for going open source on your tablet is discussed. Due to my lack of technical knowledge (and probably language) I don't quite understand the outcome: If one wants an all open source tablets and use wifi, what would be the better solution?

Or is the best tablet solution to get hands on a gsm model.
