Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 (GT-I8160, "codina")
Added by Linus Drumbler over 11 years ago
Having gone through the entire list of official CyanogenMod ports, I'm now into unofficial ones.
- Supported by two different unofficial ports of CyanogenMod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2452315, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2342997
- Installation process looks fine on both ports
- Samsung device, so kernel should be okay
- Kernel sources available: https://github.com/dh-harald/android_kernel_samsung_codina, https://github.com/TeamCanjica/android_kernel_samsung_codina
- Network type is GSM
The platform is something I haven't encountered before, "NovaThor U8500". I'll leave the suitability of that to your good judgement.

Yay thanks for your work on spotting interesting devices!
It seems like they didn't bother replacing any blob and just go with all the modules from stock. Maybe a port is doable and the components are possible to replace (hard to tell without the device in my hand), but there are better devices out there that require less work to add support for them.
