These phones are chinese branded, can be rooted, the screen is impressive to look at however it isn't the most responsive.
These seem to be quite generic like you'll find quite a few simular devices but rebranded.

Mediatek SoCs are known to have bad modem isolation and may check the signature of their bootloaders, so it is a pretty bad target for Replicant. In addition, there is seldom source code available (e.g. kernel code) for such chinese devices and overall, there is no CyanogenMod support for these, so it is definitely not a good target for Replicant.
