Need Network - Device Information
Added by ROBERT A over 10 years ago
The website should provide current information about what network i.e. Verizon, ATT&T etc. works for a particular device. I want to use the Samsung Galaxy S3 (I9100) device, with replicant installed, on the Verizon Network. But, I don't know if the device will work on Verizon's CDMA network. And, I can't readily determine that the device will work on Verizon's network. This device is a Global Phone with a SIM Card. If I purchase this device and find it doesn't work on Verizon, would I be able to switch the SIM Card and use it on another network like ATT&T? There's a dearth of devices available, let alone information in trying to determine whether or not a device will work on a particular network. The replicant website should provide this essential information.
Thank you.

"The network type must be GSM, no CDMA phone can be supported for now"
-Hope this helps

Note that each device page specifies which version of the device is supported. Each version is specific to a network type (that is specified in the page as well).
