Metalic sound in speaker for some calls.

Hi,

I have install Replicant on a i9300 for about one week now.
I realize I have a very weird issue...

Depending on who I am calling or the call is cristal clear or it is like metalic / robot and very difficult to listen correctly.
This is very reproductible as for some mobile number dialed it is or always cristal clear or always metalic.

My replicant installation is stock for everything expect Bluetooth (as I really need it), on Bluetooth it is working well everytime.
I don't think it is a faulty hardware speaker as I would expect to happen everytime and as I said it really depends to who I am calling to...

Any idea ?

Hi,

I'm quite new in Replicant and I have the same problem.
My phone is running Replicant 4.2, and I don't even have bluetooth installed.

Did you find a solution ?

There is an issue for this: http://redmine.replicant.us/issues/1773 .
A temporary fix seems to be using 2G only.

Indeed, there is no problem with using 2G only.
