Replicant

I decided to create some empty sound files to overwrite them with the existing system sounds to mute the relevant ones, (which couldn't be modified over the settings menu) to completely mute them - even if I'm on 'normal' sound profile.

I've attached the flashable 'mute_system_sounds.zip' for that sound file replacement.

That file replaces the folowing system sounds with silence under the following path /system/media/audio/ui/

• camera_click.ogg
• camera_focus.ogg
• Dock.ogg
• Effect_Tick.ogg
• Lock.ogg
• Unlock.ogg
• VideoRecord.ogg
• VideoStop.ogg

Hope that helps somebody...

Don't be afraid; if you want to set the changes back to default (behavior), just "install" the Replicant .zip file (over CWM Recovery) again.
Over this way you don't lose any personal data or settings you made - even on encrypted devices.
