Replicant

I decided to make two animated boot logos for Replicant.

CAUTION: The current attached files have two little bugs, (a frameskip- and transparency problem) and have to be replaced;
the following two previews are from the updated upcoming versions. This post will be updated as soon as I get a little help from an admin on this forum.

First of all I have to say, I'm neither a designer, nor a developer, and that is my very first bootanimation try and also my very first contact with .svg files.
I created my first zero-version with GIMP. Now I've made next zero-version with Inkscape.

The (unspectacular) circle 'animation' is inspired by the boot animation of CyanogenMod 11 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgnzNNPVaCA#t=0m52s).
I thought that's some kind of tribute to the roots of Replicant.

I made a square to be compatible to the (not used/implemented yet) feature of boot animation rotation; this is why the the overall appearance is smaller.

The 'bootanimation.zip' (= 480x480 pixel) is attached. Just replace that with the existing one under: /system/media/bootanimation.zip
Also I've attached a flashable 'bootlogo_replacement.zip', which replaces the bootanimation.zip smoothly :)

And the type font from: https://www.theleagueofmoveabletype.com/league-gothic
(By the way, you should have installed that font on your system if you want to generate the image season out of the .svg files).

Don't be afraid; if you want to set the changes back to default (behavior), just "install" the Replicant .zip file (over CWM Recovery) again.
Over this way you don't lose any personal data or settings you made - even on encrypted devices.
