Description
May not be a bug. In the file base/core/res/res/values/config.xml
the fallback DNS belongs to Google. Privacy consious people would prefer something else.
What do you think?
<!-- IP address of the dns server to use if nobody else suggests one -->
<string name="config_default_dns_server" translatable="false">8.8.8.8</string>

Just checked in packages/apps/Settings/res/values/strings.xml file. It also has wifi_dns1_hint wifi_dns2_hint referring to Google DNS.
May be am I just paranoid as even https://www.wikileaks.org/wiki/Alternative_DNS are recommending(?) google DNS.

I don't what difference it makes to use Google or another centralized DNS server as fallback. The good solution is to use your own DNS server.
