Thanks to adjtm on #replicant on Freenode for the bug report.

That message appears on the bottom of the Recovery main screen.

If I recall well /misc is's used to control the recovery through command. For instance in Android you can write commands to a file to instruct the recovery to do an OTA update for instance.

So we probably need to fix it to make sure to have users avoid being stuck or having untended side effects.
