Replicant includes F-Droid, the market application that provides free software. The F-Droid Privileged Extension is shipped as well and enables background updates.
F-Droid includes apps with anti-features that are not compatible with the GNU Free System Distribution Guidelines. These apps are available alongside apps that are compatible and they are only marked with these anti-features. See #1629 for development efforts and further information on this topic.
Not all anti-features violate the GNU FSDG. The ones that do are explained below. We do not recommend the installation and usage of apps that have these anti-features.
